Flexible Working in Post Production
We are looking into how we could facilitate greater flexibility in working practices in post production and we want to hear your stories! As we research what flexible working could look like in Post, we’re calling out for case studies. Have you and a colleague teamed up for a job share, past or present? Have you managed to successfully negotiate your hours around a parenting/caring role? We would love to hear from you.
PACT & BECTU TV Drama Agreement - Post Production T&Cs in the event of no Agreement
As you may know, BECTU served notice on the agreement we have with PACT on terms and conditions for those working in TV drama. Negotiations with PACT are continuing to see if a breakthrough can be made, however if in September the agreement ceases to be, individuals are going to have to negotiate their own terms again, as was the case pre-2017. We currently working to draw up a unified set of terms which all workers can use in negotiations so this begs the question; ‘What Would An Ideal TV Drama Contract Look Like?’

The terms of the agreement specify that if either side wishes to withdraw, it must give 6 months’ notice. BECTU informed PACT on March 1st of our wish to do so.
